This contract award adds to the Groups growing portfolio of framework lead roles, including frameworks related to policy support and implementation on Industrial Emissions, Safety & Mercury, Air Quality & Emissions, and Circular Economy & Waste.
The Water and Marine policy framework is designed to support the Commission in the development and implementation of EU water and marine policies for nature, resilience, sustainability, prosperity and competitiveness.
Logika Group is leading a consortium of leading European consultancies and institutes with wide-ranging expertise to support the Commission’s work in these areas. The new framework will support legislation including, but not limited to: the Water Framework Directive, the Urban Waste Water Treatment Directive, the Environmental Quality Standards Directive and the Marine Strategy Directive.
We will endeavour to support DG ENV by providing:
- Multilingual, impartial, quality-assured work and advice on scientific, socio-economic, economic and technical issues relevant to the EU Water policy acquis
- Assessments of the implementation of the EU Water policy acquis
- Technical assistance for evaluations, fitness checks, impact assessments and other types of work relevant to the EU Water policy acquis
- Technical assistance for the future development of EU water and marine policies
- Organisation of and contribution to stakeholder engagement processes
