Luciana is a Principal Consultant within the Environmental Policy and Economics Team and joined the company in September 2025.
Luciana is an experienced researcher and project manager in energy and climate policy. She previously led the Clean Economy division of Energy Policy Group, Romania’s leading think tank on energy and climate policy, coordinating projects on industrial decarbonisation, carbon capture and storage, and sustainable buildings. Her past work experience also includes the UK Government’s Department for Business, Energy, and Industrial Strategy, the Parliamentary Office of Science and Technology, Climate-KIC, and Imperial Consultants.
Luciana holds a PhD from Imperial College London on policy and behavioural drivers of energy efficiency retrofit in UK housing, and an MSc in Sustainable Energy Systems and BSc in Ecological and Environmental Science from the University of Edinburgh.
