Asia Clean Blue Sky Programme

Support to the Asian Development Bank in developing and launching the Asia Clean Blue Sky Program to scale up ADB investment in air quality management in developing member countries.

Focus:

To scale up ADB investment in improving air quality in Asia

Purpose of project:

To develop, pilot and launch a clean blue sky programme and apply it to selected investment projects.

What we delivered:

  • Identified ongoing / proposed investment projects that contribute to air quality management and providing technical / policy support.
  • Awareness raising and training activities on air quality management for member countries and within ADB.
  • Developed an approach for tracking air quality related finance in ADB investment projects.
  • Delivered a workshop and series of bilateral meetings to support the next stage of implementation of Pakistan’s National Clean Air Policy (NCAP) at the provincial level.
