To inform the development of the World Bank’s Sustainable Cities Implementation Framework for Europe and Central Asia.

  • Review of evidence and datasets to determine the air quality context of cities in Bulgaria, Croatia, Poland, and Romania, exploring emission trends by key source sectors and air quality trends. 
  • Identified key performance drivers in each country, including policy and legislation, institutions and capacities, and financing.
