Purpose

To support the European Commission in its development and delivery of the EU clean air programme by providing technical expertise and policy analysis, tailored to the needs of EU policy makers. 

What we delivered

  • Leading an experienced consortium with partners from across European, including IIASA, Ineris, TNO, RIVM, Emisia and Met.No
  • Supporting the analysis of Member State ecosystem impact data 
  • Assessing the impacts of bioenergy on air quality and assessing best practice in developing measures to address these 
  • Tracking trends in industrial emissions to 2050 and assessing the potential for new emissions controls
