João Pedro is a biodiversity expert with 25 years of experience in EU policy implementation and evaluation. He has delivered successful projects for the European Commission, private sector organizations, and NGOs, demonstrating his ability to work with diverse stakeholders.
João Pedro's professional background is rooted in his expertise in supporting the implementation of EU environmental policy, particularly in the areas of biodiversity and Natura 2000, through the utilization of EU funded projects such as LIFE and HORIZON programmes.
