Deniz is a consultant within the Environmental Policy and Economics team and joined the company in 2026.
Deniz is a Consultant at Logika Group, working within the Environmental Policy and Economics team. She specialises in environmental policy and economic analysis across climate change, nature finance, and carbon markets, with particular experience in natural climate solutions (NCS).
Prior to joining Logika Group, Deniz worked as a Consultant supporting the Climate Finance Mobilization, Nature Finance, Development Economics teams. She conducted analytical work to prioritise and scale carbon crediting across a portfolio of land-use change and nature-based operations in Latin America, Sub-Saharan Africa and Southeast Asia and developed benchmarking methodologies on carbon market legal and regulatory reforms to strengthen enabling environments for carbon monetisation. She was a core member of the SCALE carbon fund management team. She contributed to project coordination and portfolio development, engaging with stakeholders including the UK Government, and the design of the fund’s Theory of Change and Results Framework. In addition, she assessed investment projects for eligibility under Nature Finance classifications and contributed to the application of the MDB Common Nature Finance Taxonomy, supporting the standardisation of how nature finance is defined and assessed across sectors.
Deniz holds a Master of Public Policy (MPP) degree from Harris School of Public Policy, University of Chicago, along with double BAs in Economics and International Relations from Koc University in Turkey. She is a Fulbright Scholar.
