Daryna is a Senior Consultant within the Environmental Policy and Economics Team and joined the company in January 2024.
Daryna is a climate change policy analyst with prior exposure in the energy sector. Previously, Daryna worked with the Ministry of Environment of Ukraine, in particular helping to draft the plan of green reforms under the Ukraine Facility and a climate change framework law. Daryna was leading an Emissions management unit at a state-owned gas company in Ukraine, tasked with developing internal decarbonisation policies. She also has experience in the EU Green Deal, as she was a part of the team of the Deputy Prime Minister for European Integration of Ukraine, helping to plan the gradual alignment of the national legislation with the EU acquis. Daryna participated as a climate finance negotiator in the Ukrainian delegation at COP, so therefore has a good understanding of the UNFCCC processes.
In addition to her professional experience, Daryna holds an MPA with a focus on Environmental policy from Cornell University, along with a MA and a BA in International Business from Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv.
