Natalia Reyna joins the Logika group of companies as Senior Policy Consultant in its Environmental Policy & Economics Practice


Natalia Reyna, an Environmental Engineer PhD graduate, has joined the Logika Group of companies as Senior Policy Consultant in its Environmental Policy & Economics Practice.

Natalia has 15 years of professional experience working on GHG emissions modelling, air quality, waste and sustainable water management. She has worked with national, state and local governments, as well as international organisations and the private sector.

Natalia joins from C40, a network of the world’s megacities committed to addressing climate change, where she has worked extensively on the delivery of technical assistance and in the elaboration of tools and guidance to help cities develop GHG emissions inventories and climate action plans in line with international best practices. Throughout her professional career, she has carried out research and data collection through fieldwork including the design and application of surveys and stakeholder consultation processes. She has also worked on the elaboration of tools and guidance resources, capacity building workshops and data analysis.

In 2018 Natalia completed an Environmental Engineering PhD research in Imperial College on the “Impact of Black Carbon (BC) Emissions from the uncontrolled burning of waste”, linking air quality, climate change and waste management. She also studied an MPhil in Engineering for Sustainable Development at the University of Cambridge focusing on sustainable water management for marginalised communities.

Before moving to the UK, Natalia was the Director of Research in Air Quality at the National Institute of Ecology and Climate Change (INECC) in Mexico, a federal scientific research institute with technical and regulatory powers to provide key scientific research for public policy design. Natalia has also worked as a water and sanitation consultant in the UN-ECLAC and the Mexican Autonomous National University (UNAM).

The Logika Group comprises Air Quality Consultants Ltd, Noise Consultants Ltd and Logika Consultants Ltd. The Environmental Policy & Economics Practice has been established to work across the group. Together the Group supports a wide range of public and private sector clients in the UK and internationally in the provision of services in the fields of air quality, climate change, environmental policy, evaluation and impact assessment, environmental noise & vibration, strategic environmental advice and design solutions.
